Nuaveh (Persian: نواوه, also Romanized as Nūāveh; also known as Nūā Deh)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Melkari-ye Sharqi Rural District of Zab District, Mirabad County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 492 in 68 households, when it was in Melkari Rural District of Vazineh District, Sardasht County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 414 people in 87 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 299 people in 72 households.[2]
