Berisu (Persian: بريسو, also Romanized as Berīsū)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Bask-e Kuleseh Rural District of Rabat District, Sardasht County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 367 in 61 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 372 people in 84 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 194 people in 55 households.[2]
In 2022, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Rabat District, which was divided into two rural districts and the cities of Rabat and Nalas.[7]
