Chavenon (French pronunciation: [ʃavnɔ̃]; Occitan: Chavanon) is a commune in the Allier department in Auvergne in central France.
History
The former name is Ecclesia de Cavenone,[3] the name of a monastery which was destroyed in the French Revolution.
