Chehel Cheshmeh-ye Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان چهل چشمه غربي)[3] is in Sarshiv District of Saqqez County, Kurdistan province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,624 in 468 households.[4] There were 2,631 inhabitants in 499 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,057 in 503 households. The largest of its 15 villages was Bastam, with 538 people.[2]
