Junqan District (Persian: بخش جونقان) is in Farsan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Junqan.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Mizdej-e Sofla Rural District and the city of Junqan were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Junqan District, which was divided into two rural districts and the city.[3]

The following census in 2011 counted 35,166 people in 9,487 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 34,876 inhabitants living in 9,944 households.[2]
