Khelejan (Persian: خلجان, also Romanized as Khelejān and Kheljān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Sard-e Sahra Rural District of the Central District of Tabriz County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 6,354 in 1,679 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 6,365 people in 1,892 households.[2]
