Kheyrabad (Persian: خيراباد, also Romanized as Kheyrābād and Khairābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Qahfarrokh Rural District of Farrokhshahr District, Shahrekord County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Lurs.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,076 in 283 households, when it was in Dastgerd Rural District of the former Kiar District.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,122 people in 333 households,[7] by which time it was in the Central District of Kiar County.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 979 people in 301 households, when the village was in the newly established Qahfarrokh Rural District of Farrokhshahr District in Sharekord County.[4] It was the only village in its rural district.[2]
