Mahrugi-ye Olya (Persian: محروگي عليا, also Romanized as Maḩrūgī-ye ‘Olyā; also known as Maḩrūqī-ye ‘Olyā, Maḩrūgī, and Maḩrūqī)[1] is a village in Buzi Rural District, in the Central District of Shadegan County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 174, in 31 families.[2]
