Mulan (Persian: مولان, also Romanized as Mavlān, Mawlān, Mūlān and Mowlān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Mulan Rural District of the Central District of Kaleybar County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,054 in 273 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 939 people in 285 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 734 people in 245 households.[2]
