Tay (Persian: طاي, also Romanized as Ţāy and Ţā’)[3] is a village in Gavrud Rural District, Muchesh District, Kamyaran County, Kurdistan province, Iran. The village is populated by Kurds.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,716 in 402 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,723 people in 472 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,489 people in 437 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
