Vacenovice is a municipality and village in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,200 inhabitants.
Vacenovice lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Hodonín, 50 km (31 mi) south-east of Brno, and 237 km (147 mi) south-east of Prague.
History
The first written mention of Vacenovice is from 1228.[2]
