The 2024 Pennsylvania Democratic presidential primary will take place on April 23, 2024, as part of the Democratic Party primaries for the 2024 presidential election. 173 delegates to the Democratic National Convention will be allocated to presidential candidates.[1]

Incumbent President Joe Biden is running for re-election. He faces primary challenges from progressive activist Marianne Williamson and Representative Dean Phillips.

Campaign

President Biden announced his candidacy for re-election on April 25, 2023, four years after he announced his 2020 campaign. He held his first official campaign rally in Philadelphia on June 17, touting the successes of his economic policy.[2]
